About time we kissed the EU goodbye

THERE has been much fury over the tax changes but no-one has mentioned the fact that last year Tony Blair allowed the EU to reduce our rebate which Margaret Thatcher fought hard for.

Gordon Brown has to find the money from somewhere. This is never mentioned. Why does the Government think we are better off in?

Our businessess seem to suffer every way. The rest of the EU has cheaper fuel and rides roughshod over our road rules.
Our agriculture, fishing etc have all been diminished.

We are no longer able to govern ourselves as we are tied by so many rules.

With such a densely populated country, we are bound to have more rubbish than those with less people and they have more space in which to put it. Not that I think we shouldn't reduce it as much as possible but to be fined for it means we will have more taxes to pay...community charges! It is the EU who fines us. No choice for Gordon Brown.

Why do the media not shout from the rooftops? It seems that anyone who is Eurosceptic is considered anti-British, whilst in truth, it is the hierarchy and those who benefit from handouts and the gravy train who are the only beneficiaries.

Wake up before it is too late. The next thing is the loss of our currency. It won't be long before we have the euro.

It's about time Britain changed to the Euro. Would make travelling to Europe a lot easier for Australians .. :)
