The squads

One to watch - Pawel Abbott

Oldham are suffering from a chronic lack of goals - in all competitions, they have scored only 14 this season - and it is largely down to Abbott that they are holding on to a mid-table position in League One. His six goals have helped to secure all bar one of Oldham's five league victories, and no other member of Dave Penney's squad has scored more than twice. The physical Polish forward made a name for himself at Huddersfield, where he scored 44 times in 78 league starts between 2004 and 2007, and he is a proven striker at League One level.

Match official - Gavin Ward (Surrey)

A new official for Leeds, though not for Oldham. Ward handled the Latics' 2-2 draw at Yeovil Town last season, booking four players, and he has shown himself to be something of a disciplinarian during the past two months. After 11 matches, his card count shows 42 yellows and two reds, and he booked nine players when Southend United beat Gillingham 1-0 last week. Perhaps unfairly, he has a Facebook page dedicated to him, entitled 'Gavin Ward is the worst referee in the Football League'.
