Leeds United have swooped to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Hogan Ephraim on loan until January 1.
The former West Ham ace, who joined the R's in January 2008 for £800,000, has found opportunities limited at Loftus Road this term, making just four league appearances - including two starts.
He has found the net twice, in League Cup games against Exeter City and Accrington Stanley.
The England youth international, 21 , is currently on the mend following an ankle injury and is need of game time, according to boss Jim Magilton.
He said: "Hogan is still recovering from his ankle injury and an important part of his rehabilitation is getting games under his belt. Leeds will provide him with a platform to do that."
Ephraim is ineligible for Sunday's FA Cup at Kettering.
