Simon Grayson may take the opportunity to rest one or two players, especially with an eye on Tuesday evening's game at Oldham. With loan players Vokes and Gradel, also likely to miss out, the starting line up may be very different from the team that beat Leyton Orient but a near second string line-up should have more than enough to overcome our non-league opponents. There's been no complaints from the club about having to play Sunday and Tuesday, messrs Wenger, Ferguson and Benitez would have gone bananas at that kind of schedule.

The victory on Tuesday was achieved by a moment of magic from the mercurial Max Gradel who illuminated a frustrating evening when Leeds were second best for an hour. The introduction of Gradel and Aidy White added urgency to the attack and although Orient could feel hard done by Ankergren never had a save to make. The attendance was as dismal as the weather, quite what the Leeds public need to support their team is beyond me. However, those that travel to Kettering on Sunday will hope to disappoint the national TV audience salivating at the prospect of a Leeds defeat.
Prediction: Kettering Town 1 Leeds United 2

The performance against the O's on Tuesday is a good enough reason to not get complacent this season. United looked like they had a hangover from the party at Brighton and were fortunate to go in at half-time still on level terms. Not for the first time this season the Max factor was added to the mix to try and create some chances. Instead, he threw caution to the wind and slotted the ball home himself in the dying minutes to secure all three points. I fancy us to be in the hat for the FA Cup third round.

With victories for Charlton, Millwall, Colchester and, most importantly, Norwich, we needed those three points on Tuesday night. I'm not worried one bit by the dip in performance, it's all about points in the bag this year as we wave goodbye and good riddance to the third tier of English football. How refreshing to have such a precocious talent in Max Gradel amongst our ranks, like most wingers he'll be as frustrating as he is exciting on another day, that's why Grayson needs all praise imaginable for the way he has played him. On to Sunday – let's banish the memories of Histon!
Prediction: Kettering Town 0 Leeds United 2

We travel to Kettering hoping to avoid slipping on a banana skin against non league opponents like last year. Kettering are towards the top end of the Blue Square Premier but have been rocked by the departure of their boss to Peterborough. These games tend to be scrappy affairs played on pitches that are not up to standard. If we play our own style and keep the ball on the ground we will be fine. I'm hoping that Max Gradel and Aidan White get a start after there influential roles after coming off the bench against Orient.
Prediction: Kettering Town 0 Leeds United 2
