LEEDS UNITED boss Simon Grayson has been linked with a fresh move for talented Oldham Athletic midfielder Chris Taylor.
Grayson is a known admirer of the highly-rated 22-year-old and tried to buy him last summer while at former club Blackpool, only for the Latics to reject his bid.

But Grayson has maintained his interest in the Oldham-born ace, who hit 11 goals last season – including a brace in the Lancastrians' 2-0 success at Elland Road on August 16 – and is reportedly lining up a £500,000 offer.

Taylor – named in the League One team of the year in 2008-09 – has been watched by United over the past couple of years, with ex-Whites boss Dennis Wise first linked with a move during his time in the Elland Road hot-seat.

Left-sided midfielder Taylor, who can also play in centre-midfield or at full-back, only signed a contract extension back in March.
