Leeds United winger Robert Snodgrass has withdrawn from the Scotland squad to play Japan in Yokohama on Saturday.
Snodgrass will miss the friendly after injuring his left leg in last week's 1-1 draw between Leeds and Carlisle United.

The 22-year-old did not feature in Saturday's game against Charlton Athletic and though Leeds were willing to allow him to link up with Scotland's squad, his withdrawal was confirmed this morning.

Snodgrass was hoping to win his first senior cap this weekend after being called into the Scotland squad by George Burley last week.
