Bosses at ITV1 are staying tight-lipped about the identity of the stars who have agreed to get back to basics in the Australian rainforest on the popular reality show.

But their vow of silence hasn't stopped a string of famous - and not-so-famous - names being suggested for the programme's latest run, which starts on Sunday, November 15.

They include 44-year-old Vinnie, a cult hero at Leeds thanks to his tough-tackling part in the club's fondly-remembered 1989-90 promotion season.

More recently he has carved out a film career, with roles in movies such as Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels and X-Men: The Last Stand.

Other stars rumoured to be appearing in I'm A Celebrity... this year include 1980s pin-up Sam Fox and snooker ace Jimmy White.

Leeds model Nell McAndrew and ex-Emmerdale actress Sheree Murphy are among the contestants with Yorkshire connections who have featured in the show in previous years.
