Aidy Boothroyd is the red hot favourite to take over as Huddersfield Town boss, with Harrogate-based bookmakers SkyBet suspending betting on his potential appointment.
Baildon-born Boothroyd, a first-team coach at Leeds under Kevin Blackwell, was first quoted as an 8-1 shot but a deluge of cash slashed his price to 1-4 yesterday prompting the suspension.
