She might come from a land Down Under but right now Leeds United supporter Leisa Simpson is feeling on top of the world.

Leisa, 42, who lives in New South Wales in Australia, has won United's Greatest Fans In The World contest.

She and husband Stephen will be flown all the way from Oz for a week-long stay in Leeds as part of her prize.

The trip has been timed so they can be special guests of United chairman Ken Bates at the club's final home game of the regular league season, against Gillingham on May 3.

Leisa and Stephen will also get to meet Whites boss Gary McAllister when they visit Leeds's Thorp Arch training complex.

The prize package has been laid on courtesy of Leeds Bradford International Airport, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Leeds's Bewleys Hotel.

United organised the competition to help their attempts to find out if they have at least one fan in every recognised country in the world.
