VETERAN centre Keith Senior says one good win could turn Leeds Rhinos' season around.
After leading engage Super League by six points in May, Rhinos – who host Bradford Bulls on Friday – have slipped two adrift of leaders St Helens with only four rounds of the regular season remaining.
The defending champions have lost four of thei
r last seven league games – plus a Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final – and Senior, right, admitted they are off-form, but he insists the season is still very much alive.
"We are playing as individuals and people aren't really performing as they should be," said the England three-quarter.
"Personally, I am not happy with my form, but it's one of those things we need to look at.
"We are losing, we aren't playing that well, but it can just take one game to turn it around.
"Now's the best time to go into a dip of form, rather than the next four weeks."
Rhinos have a three-point cushion over third-placed Les Catalans Dragons and Senior feels they are still in the driving seat for the all-important top-two.
"One thing that's definitely in our hands is second spot," he said. "It is important to finish in the top-two. It is coming to the business end of the year and it's a long year so it's always good to get that week off between the final league game and your first play-off.
"Winning the Grand Final is definitely a target and we're still setting our sights on it."
Clinton Toopi (knee) and Ryan Hall (foot) won't play against this season due to injury and Brent Webb (back), Jamie Jones-Buchanan (hamstring) and Ryan Bailey (ankle) are also on the casualty list.
Webb is expected to return against Bradford, but Ali Lauitiiti could miss that game after being ordered to appear before the RFL disciplinary panel this evening.
Lauitiiti has been charged with an alleged strike with the forearm during Saturday's 22-12 defeat at Warrington, a Grade C offence which can carry a suspension of up to four games.
