Patched-up Leeds Rhinos head for Harlequins in the fifth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup tomorrow hoping it won't be their only visit to the capital in this season's competition (3pm).
The Rhinos' preparations for the game received a massive boost with the news Great Britain forward Gareth Ellis had overcome an ankle injury and broken thumb to take his place in the 19-man squad.
However, they then lost highly-rated fellow-forwa
rd Luke Burgess to a groin strain.
With recent signing French international forward Eric Anselme ineligible because he joined after the cup transfer deadline and Kiwi full-back Brent Webb playing in yesterday's 28-12 Centenary Test defeat against Australia in Sydney, the Rhinos squad has an inexperienced look about it.
But coach Brian McClennan has once again insisted the engage Super League and World Club Challenge champions have the personnel to overcome their problems and take another positive step on the road to Wembley.
Young full-back Ben Jones-Bishop, who made his senior debut in the last round win over Celtic Crusaders, has been called up into the squad by the Leeds boss, along with Danny Williams and Danny Allan.
McClennan said: "That is the challenge that is in front of us.
"We have always said that whatever 17 we put out on the field is our best 17 and that remains our philosophy.
"We are going down there with a plan that we believe can work.
"If we do it to the letter we believe we can come back with the win, but we must do that."
