Leeds Rhinos have missed out on highly-rated Whitehaven scrum-half Gregg McNally.
The 17-year-old England Academy ace, who spent time on work experience at Leeds, has joined Huddersfield Giants on a three-year deal, though he will return to Whitehaven on loan for the 2009 campaign.

McNally scored a hat-trick of tries on his National League debut for Haven and is rated as one of the brightest prospects in the British game.
