Champions Leeds Rhinos might need to become "a bit boring" to get their challenge back on track, forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan believes.
Rhinos have lost three of their last four games going into tonight's visit of lowly West Yorkshire neighbours Huddersfield Giants.
It is the poorest run since they won the engage Super League title last October and Jones-Buchanan feels going back
to basics may be the key to turning things around.
He said: "After recent results it's definitely time to start putting it together on the field, getting some form and putting some solid performances together.
"To be back home is fantastic and it's a chance for us to go out and be solid and maybe even be a bit boring in the way we play the game, get some sets together, play it tough and do the hard yards.
"We've been down on our discipline recently, maybe through trying a bit too hard to fix things that aren't really broken.
"You get that when you've had a couple of bad results, you maybe
start looking to do things that you don't really need to do.
"We gave a lot of penalties away at Wigan last week and we dropped a lot of ball and that's maybe cost us in the long run.
"We just need to get a few more sets behind us and play a bit more solid. When we go set for set with teams, we are pretty devastating.
"If we can give ourselves more of a chance by having a bit more ball, we will create opportunities again.
"We don't need to try and score on every play. Every Super League team has got some fit, strong guys in there.
"They take a long time to break down, so we just need to wear them down a bit.
"We know that come the back end of games we're strong, we have been even in the games we've lost.
"If we can get to the back end of games after being strong at the front end, that gives us a much more solid platform."
Jones-Buchanan insists morale in the Rhinos camp remains high, despite recent defeats.
