Gareth Ellis looks set to return for Leeds Rhinos in Sunday's Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth round tie against Harlequins after being named in coach Brian McClennan's 19-man squad for the trip.
Ellis has recovered from a broken thumb and ankle injury as Leeds bid to continue their excellent run against the London side in league and cup competitions.
Rhinos have have won all four previous cup meetings between the two sides, including the 1999 final and claimed a 48-0 home victory over Brian McDermott's side in the league last month.
There were doubts over the future of former Leeds assistant coach McDermott's future following Quins defeat in Cardiff last weekend, but the former Great Britain prop has since pledged his future to the club.
And McClennan is taking nothing for granted at the Stoop.
He said: "They will present a big challenge for us and they are going to be very determined after facing some adversity in the week."
"But we have had problems with injuries to personnel too so both sides will be very determined."
French international forward Eric Anselme is ineligible after signing for Leeds after the competition deadline, while full-back Brent Webb is playing for New Zealand in today's Centenary Test against Australia.
But the canny Rhinos coach is refusing to reveal his plans for the Kiwi's replacement – preferring to keep his cards close to this chest.
"We have a couple of options that we have been working on but I am afraid you will find out the name of our full-back until game day."
The Rhinos squad had yesterday and this morning off and McClennan was hoping to watch Webb in action for the Kiwis.
"I will get to see some of the game and have to tape the end.
"I am a Kiwi boy and hoping New Zealand win, but it will be weird at the World Cup because obviously Rhinos will have a lot of players there too.
"So I will be supporting individuals rather than teams as I also have a lot of connections with the Samoans. I suppose the only team I definitely won't be supporting is Australia!"
As well as Webb and Anselme, forward Luke Burgess misses out after straining his groin in training.
Reserve team full-back Ben Jones-Bishop, who played in Leeds' fourth round win over Celtic Crusaders steps up, while Lee Smith is back in contention after being rested last week. Danny Williams and Danny Allan are also drafted in.
Rhinos v Harlequins: from Donald, Senior, Smith, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, Ellis, Sinfield, Scruton, Ablett, Tansey, Hall, Williams, Allan, Worrall, Watkins, Jones-Bishop.
