Leeds Rhinos have had to settle for finishing second in engage Super League, despite a 30-12 win at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Friday night.
St Helens' 16-16 home draw with Wigan Warriors was enough to give them the league leaders' shield by a point from Rhinos.

Saints will have home advantage in the Grand Final qualifying play-off between the two sides on Friday, September 19.

Rhinos were pushed all the way by Wildcats, in their final game of the season.

Danny Brough kicked Wakefield ahead with a penalty goal, before Ali Lauitiiti and Brent Webb combined to send Jordan Tansey over for a try for Leeds, converted by Kevin Sinfield.

Two Scott Grix touchdowns and a Brough conversion gave Wakefield a 12-6 lead, but Rhinos went in all square at the break after Scott Donald followed up his own kick and Sinfield added the extras.

Lauitiiti was the star for Leeds in the second-half, setting up a try for Sinfield, then crossing twice himself.

Sinfield added two more conversions and Rob Burrow booted one.
