The Fab Cafe was almost completely hidden from view, a barely advertised bar located in a ground floor section of the Merrion Centre that was only recognisable through a small spherical sign above the door and the entrance itself. It kicks off a wonderful rewind celebrating a year in the life of Leeds city centre two decades ago. 2002 was the year which featured a raft of celebrity visits as well as stories with a sense of wacky and wonderful.
