NOT surprisingly, home advantage paid off for Moor Allerton as Johnny Lawrence, the leading individual, led them to the Yorkshire Division Two team championship.
It also handed them a place in the championship proper at Middlesbrough on August 20, when they will be one of 17 challengers to title-holders Moortown.

Moor Allerton's four-man team finished a huge 20 strokes ahead of runners-up Baildon.
