Overgrown bushes blocking a pavement in south Leeds have been cut back and cleared after Get It Sorted stepped in to help.
Locals complained they have been forced to walk into the road to get round the bushes on Towcester Avenue in Middleton's Heritage Village.
Council workmen turned to sort out the gripe just 48 hours after it first featured in Consumerwatch's Get It S
orted column.
Resident, John Lewis, 66, said: "It has taken four years for the bushes to get into that overgrown state just just yet a few hours before they were chopped back.
"It just shows the powers-that-be are taking notice of this column."
