Work has started on installing speed humps in a Leeds suburb after Get It Sorted stepped in to help.
Locals had been calling on the council to finish off what they had started on Queenswood Drive in Kirkstall.
They had been forced to play the waiting game despite the signs being up for months.
Now workmen have started to install the speed humps wi
th work due to be completed on Sunday, November 19.
Retired painter and decorator, Tom Baker, 75, said: "I am really pleased to see work has started at long last. It has been frustrating seeing the signs up without the actual humps being there. Thank you Consumerwatch."
