IF YOU HAD TO BE STUCK IN A LIFT WITH SOMEONE, WHO WOULD IT BE?

I like Halle Berry but she might be boring. There’s got to be someone with a bit of banter. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR?

Failure.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERSTITIONS?

No, not really.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ONLY ONE SONG ON YOUR IPOD, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, just because it puts me in a good mood and keeps me uplifted.

WHAT’S THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING YOU’VE BOUGHT, NOT INCLUDING PROPERTY?

Probably my wife’s engagement ring.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?

Always be yourself.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED AND WHY?

I cry a lot at films. The last time I cried uncontrol-lably was watching The Green Mile. My wife was laughing her head off. It was very, very sad.

WHAT’S YOUR INDULGENCE?

Sorry to say but alcohol. I enjoy a pint.

HOW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ARE YOU?

To an extent I am. Not as much as I could be. I do my bit in a way.

HOW MANY TEXTS DO YOU SEND IN A DAY?

I don’t like texting, it bores me.

WHO’S THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON IN YOUR MOBILE?

Ricky Hatton.

WHAT ITEM COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?

It’s bad to say in this day and age but most probably my phone. I really do use my phone a lot.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I’m quite happy the way I am.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING ON HOLIDAY?

I’m in Paris working at the moment. I’m filming a new thing called Merlin for BBC1. I’m here for my birthday so I suppose this is my trip. It’s my birthday and I’m taking my son to Disneyland. It looks like it’s his birthday, doesn’t it?

WHAT WERE YOU DOING THIS TIME YESTERDAY?

I was at work filming in a castle in France.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING THIS TIME TOMORROW?

I’ll be in Disneyland. Sounds like I have an exciting life, doesn’t it really?
