20 firefighters tackle factory blaze

MORE than 20 firefighters tackled a blaze in a West Yorkshire textile factory last night.
The fire broke out in a carding machine at John Cotton's factory in Huddersfield Road in Mirfield at 8.20 pm.
Firefighters struggled to find the seat of the blaze as the factory was smoke-logged.
Crews from Mirfield, Dewsbury, Batley and Brighouse were called out, with an aerial appliance.
