Seamer Steve Patterson has ended speculation over his future by signing a new two-year deal with Yorkshire.
The Hull-born ace made four LV County Championship appearances in 2008, picking up an impressive 11 wickets at only 25.36.

He said: "I bowled well when I got my first-team chances this summer and I am very pleased I have been given the opportunity to stay at the club where I have grown up."
