WHO could forget the image of Adam Chadwick's daughter Ruby clutching a red rose and wearing a T-shirt showing her hugging her dead dad?
The picture – shown on the front page of the YEP – was taken as Adam's heartbroken family and friends said an emotional goodbye at his funeral last week.

Now detectives hunting the 20-year-old's killers have unearthed new CCTV footage of the gang'
s getaway car.

The video of the stolen blue Ford Focus was captured just days before three masked men shot him dead at his sister's home in Leeds.

It's six weeks since Adam was killed.

Police say he was innocent and believe he may have been the victim of mistaken identity.

They are desperate for clues as to his killers' identities.

They are dangerous and still at large.

Someone, somewhere knows something that could help catch them.

They must now come forward and tell police everything they know.

These cold-blooded killers took away Ruby's daddy.

Isn't it time this little girl was given some justice?

strong>Hot metal

FIRST it was lead being swiped from church roofs, then it was copper piping that was going walkies.

Now not even drain covers are safe at the hands of thieves desperate to get their hands on scrap metal.

Crooks have started targeting street manhole covers – costing taxpayers thousands and putting pedestrians and drivers in danger.

Grid covers along the length of Bullerthorpe Lane, near Swillington, are the latest to have been stolen in recent weeks.

The reason is that scrap metal has soared in price in recent weeks and is now worth a whopping £250 a tonne.

Police are aware of the situation and are trying to track down the unscrupulous merchants willing to deal in this dodgy metal.

It just makes you wonder what on earth they'll start pinching next.

The Paris dash

OOH la la.

The ex-fashion editor of French Vogue has been in Leeds getting us dolled up for a trip to Paris.

Barbara Baumel's visit to the White Rose Centre was to promote the fact that the City of Love is now just a five-and-a-half hour train journey away via Eurostar.

It's good to know.

But it also throws up an intriguing question...

If one firm can get us to Paris in record time why do others struggle to do a decent job of getting us home from the office?
