TREVOR Garside is the new head of sales at Leeds Building Society.
Mr Garside, who has been with the society 22 years, will have responsibility for the branch network and financial services. He is also managing director of Leeds Financial Services Limited, the society's subsidiary company.
Mr Garside said: "I believe that our branch network and financial services teams will be stronger together, providing our customers with quality service and access to an excellent range of competitive products."
Mr Garside is Leeds born and bred, having attended West Leeds Boys High School in Armley. He now lives in Burley in Wharfedale and is married with two sons aged 15 and 12.
Paul Kaye, the Leeds's general manager sales said: "Trevor is taking up a key role and his wealth of experience within financial services will prove to be a great addition .
"This internal appointment also confirms the strength and quality of our people."
