A WAKEFIELD office building is to compete against two of the UK's top sporting developments for a national award.
Origin Point at Paragon Business Village, has been shortlisted against Wembley Stadium and Aintree Racecourse for the major accolade that seeks to reward building excellence.

After winning the Commercial Projects category at the West Yorkshire Built in Quality Awards 2008, Origin Point has been selected by judges for the top three in the national final in London on October 16.

Designed by The Harris Partnership, Origin Point is a 28,000 sq ft office development of which 10,000 sq ft was pre-let to West Yorkshire law firm Chadwick Lawrence.

Developed by Yorkcourt Properties, the 130-acre Paragon Business Village is located one mile from the M1, off the A650, and minutes from the centre of Wakefield.

Onsite amenities include a leisure complex, crèche, hotel and restaurants.
