Simon Wray (Pudsey and Bramley) will defend his 800 metre title at the Yorkshire Track and Field Championships at Don Valley, Sheffield, tomorrow and Sunday.
Richard Buck (York) is entered for the 200 metres while David Webb (Leeds City) looks a class above the rest of the 5,000 metres field.
In the field events Matt Barton is favourite to retain his triple jump title after a fine start to the season in last week's Northern League match.

Wakefield's Zara Hohn, silver medallist in the 100 and hurdles at last week's British Universities Championships, attempts the same double but has to contend with Olympic heptathlon hopeful Jessica Ennis.

Whist Ennis is expected to turn out in the hurdles, she might prefer the 200 to the 100 and is also likely to enter the high jump.

Wakefield duo Mikaela Harrison (400) and Kelly Johnson (800) defend their titles.

In the women's throwing events Skyrac's Amy Howard tackles the in-form Sarah Holt, the former Skyrac athlete now with Sale, whilst talented Leeds junior Hannah Evenden will enter both the shot and discus.

The events start at 10am on both days.
