There is no quick fix, warns Foster

FORMER 10,000 metres world record holder Brendan Foster has warned that replacing Dave Collins as UK Athletics performance director will not bring about an instant change in results.
Collins could find out today whether he will keep his job after Team GB's haul of four medals at the Beijing Olympics fell one short of the target set by UK Sport.
Dutch performance director Charles van Commenee, who led Denise Lewis to heptathlon gold in Sydney eight years ago, has been linked with a return.
But Foster said: "Whether Charles van Commenee was the boss or Dave Collins was the boss, it wouldn't have made Colin Jackson run any quicker."
