Leeds City's James Walsh runs for the British team in the World Cross Country Championships at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, tomorrow.
Walsh clinched his place in the team with a sixth-place finish in the Inter Counties Championships. Another Leeds City athlete, Dave Webb, narrowly missed a place in the team but was named in the England team for the home countries international at the same venue tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Wakefield Hospice 10K road race takes place tomorrow from Thornes Park, starting at 10am. Young Wakefield athletes Christopher Price and Jack Hallas will be looking to make an impact.

The South Leeds five mile road race is also tomorrow, starting at 10.30am at the South Leeds Stadium. Entries are accepted on the day for both events.
