Beauty: New summer styles and how to get waves
From the beach to bridal looks, Steve Rowbottom at Westrow has put together a series of beautiful new hair styles and themes to ring the changes for the new season ahead.
The beach wave is a classic summer look, but takes on an edgier feel for this year with wet-look crisp curls.

Finish by pulling Kerastase Styling Baume Double Je through the ends of the hair for added structure, and add a pop of tawny rose pink blush/bronze to the apple of the cheeks for a sun-kissed glow.
The next hair look is inspired by Anthony Turner for Erdem, perfect for brides and special occasions, and capturing the spirit of a 16th century girl sailor with romantic wispy braids and dishevelled braided buns.
Prep the hair with L’Oreal Professionel Techni Art Pli, a thermo modelling spray which creates volume and grip. Braid the hair into two pigtails and wrap around each other into a bun. Then, to perfect the catwalk look, tease hair out from around the face and finish with a black bow.

Pearl Blonde brings light pearly tones for a soft transparency, giving the feel of blonde bombeshell with a punk edge.
Soft candy shades also rocked the runways and look set to be a summer hit, with pastel pink milkshade tones seen at Vera Wang and pastel dreadlocks at Marc Jacobs. Look out too for hot copper looks, and slicked-back spray painted hair in bold red and blue, lilac and pink.
