Glenn Murray opens up on Brighton view of Leeds United loan star Ben White
White again excelled for Leeds during Tuesday night's Championship clash at Reading with the 22-year-old producing a commanding display in a 1-0 victory that sent Marcelo Bielsa's men top.
The former Southampton youngster was signed by Leeds on a season-long loan on July 1 as part of a summer which saw centre-back Pontus Jansson sold to Brentford.

“It’s absolutely no surprise to me," said Murray on Sky Sports, speaking of White's progress at Leeds.
"Not long ago we were training at Brighton and he’d often step in front of me, and I’d be like ‘who is this kid?’
“He’s gone out and done fantastic at Leeds, and he’s stepped into some big boots with Pontus Jansson leaving at the end of last season.

“He’s agile, he’s very very composed on the ball, and I think that’s why Bielsa likes him. But we think very highly of him at Brighton.”
White is contracted at Brighton until June 2022 and Seagulls boss Graham Potter recently spoke highly of the defender but confirmed that he was happy for the centre back to stay on loan at Leeds for the rest of the season.
