National Highways Yorkshire has advised that the M62 junction 30 (Oulton) eastbound exit slip road is closed due to a possible burst water main. Investigation work is underway.

Closure ongoing
National Highways Yorkshire are yet to issue an official statement on the work but expect the slip road to remain closed throughout much of the day.
Slip road to be closed for two days
National Highways have provided the following update on this incident:
“Drivers in West Yorkshire are advised that a slip road on the M62 has been closed to allow for an emergency repair to a burst water main and resurfacing.
“The eastbound exit slip road of the M62 at junction 30 is shut and repair work has been carried out on the burst main.
“However, the carriageway surface requires planing out and resurfacing. Anti-skid surfacing will also have to be applied.
“Yorkshire Water advise that the slip road affected by the burst main is likely to re-open on Thursday (23 February) morning.”
