Professional camera kit worth more than £50,000 stolen from car in Leeds

Thieves smashed a car window and stole professional camera equipment worth more than £50,000.

West Yorkshire Police said the kit is likely to stand out if offered for sale.

Thieves broke through the rear windscreen of a car parked in Newport Mount, Headingley, sometime between 2am and 9.30am on Tuesday, March 3.

Among the items taken were:

- An Arri Alexa SXT EV camera, worth around £50,000

- A Xeen Prime lens kit

- A Bolt 500 XT transmitter

- A Vocas MB-436 Matte Box
