Police discover large cannabis farm after raiding building in Woodhouse Leeds

Police have discovered a large cannabis farm in north west Leeds.

Officers on patrol, supported by the North West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), raided a building in Woodhouse on Thursday February 18.

They searched the property and discovered it was a cannabis farm.

A large quantity of cannabis was seized and destroyed.

In a statement issued on Facebook, the North West NPT said: "On Thursday February 18, officers from Inner North West NPT assisted patrol officers in gaining entry to a building in Woodhouse, which was then discovered to be a cannabis farm.

"A large quantity of cannabis was seized and destroyed, preventing it from reaching the local streets.

"The investigation is ongoing."
