Police arrest man in Belle Isle for possessing firearm and drug offences after executing warrant

Police were guarding an address in Belle Isle today after arresting a man.

A warrant was executed at an address on Windmill Road in Belle Isle this morning, police confirmed.

A 27 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and drugs offences.

He remains in police custody at this time, police said.
