A man was arrested for carrying a knife and trespassing on the railway tracks at Leeds Station.

British Transport Police were called to the line at 4.32pm on Tuesday, June 8 following reports of a trespasser.

Officers attended, and a man was arrested for obstructing the railway.

He was also arrested for possession of a bladed article.

The man was taken into police custody.

He has since been released while enquiries continue.
