A large cannabis farm was found inside a home in Harehills.

Police raided the address on Stanley Place in Harehills on Sunday, September 13.

Inside they found a large cannabis farm.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Officers from the West Yorkshire Police Leeds East team said: "On Sunday 13th September 2020, Officers from Team 2 Inner East NPT entered an address on Stanley Place in Harehills, Leeds under Section 17 of PACE.

"Whilst in the property Officers located a large cannabis farm and enquiries are on-going at this time."

Section 17 of PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984) allows a constable to enter and search any premises for the purpose of executing a warrant or arresting someone for an offence.
