7. Stitch
Two-year-old German Shepherd Stitch can be nervous around other dogs and new people, but has been making great progress in her training. She would need a home where she is the only pet so she can settle in easily. A secure garden would also be needed so she has somewhere to play off-lead. Stitch would not be able to be left alone initially, but the team will advise the best way to slowly build her up to spending short periods on her own. Photo: Dogs Trust
8. Suzy
Six-year-old Suzy is an ex-racing Greyhound who is looking for her forever home. She would be fine with high-school aged kids who are comfortable around larger dogs. She would also be happy to share her home with a similar dog. Suzi is sweet-natured, loves to snooze and would make the perfect family pet. Photo: Dogs Trust
9. Yumi
One-year-old Staffi Yumi is a was recently found as a stray, an ordeal that appears to have affected her confidence. For that reason, she would need patient adopters who would work with the team to slowly transition her into a home. Yumi would need to be the only pet in an adult home with a secure garden to give her somewhere to burn off energy. Photo: Dogs Trust
10. Freda and Florrie
Freda and Florrie are an adorable pair of Jack Russel Terriers, who are both one-year-old. They can be shy and are not used to being left alone, so would need their owners around all the time initially. They would prefer a home without too much passing traffic, as they like to bark at things out the window. Both Freda and Florrie are very affectionate, enjoy a lot of fuss and love playing with their toys. Photo: Dogs Trust
