HIV stories being told at Leeds event
Youth Stop AIDS has organised the event at the University of Leeds to share the experiences of people with HIV, AIDS and tuberculosis and to promote the Missing Medicines campaign, which is raising awareness of the lack of vital drugs in many developing countries.
Speakers at tonight’s event, which is being held in the Parkinson Building, include a 22-year-old from Uganda who was born with HIV and orphaned by AIDS and a 25-year-old from Ireland whose life was turned upside down when diagnosed with HIV in 2012
The event starts at 6pm, to register to attend, log on to http://bit.ly/1OIZfSE.
