Leeds daily Covid infection rate 'high' relative to others due to mix of factors
The coronavirus cases across the city are said to be higher than in other places due to demographics, the number of key workers and prison outbreaks, among other factors.

While the latest recorded case rate was a decrease from 119.8 cases per 100,000 people to 110.7 cases per 100,000 people - Mr Riordan said that the city's rate is still 'high'.
He added that the decrease was 'good news' but pleaded with residents to observe the rules of six and two households outdoors, while keeping distance and taking the vaccine when called.
